We are still honoring our mothers this month. In light of this—I asked my first graders: “What is your favorite book that your mom reads to you?”. Here is what they said:

Rain, Rain, Go Away!
Are you tired of rain? We may need to build an ark soon...wonder if we'll ever have all of our soccer practices?
Here is a list of rainy day activities to help keep your kids from driving you (too) nuts.

Sorbet in a Bag!
This is a great alternative to making ice cream for kids when you want them eating something a bit healthier! It doesnt get better or easier than this my friends!
2/3 cup pure juice (meaning real juice, not "juice drink")
Approx one tray of cubed ice
6 tbsp rock (coarse) salt
