The Fresh Beat Band, Nickelodeon's popular preschool music group and stars of the hit TV series of the same name, will hit the road in February 2012 for the first time ever on a 15-week nationwide concert tour. Kiki (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Shout (Thomas Hobson), Marina (Tara Perry), and Twist (Jon Beavers) will perform The Fresh Beat Band hits from seasons one, two and three of the live-action music series that teaches preschoolers about music appreciation and how to express their feelings through movement, song and instrumental music.

Did you know that one third of American children are overweight,? The percentage of children aged 6–11 years in the United States who were obese increased from 7% in 1980 to nearly 20% in 2008. For the first time in history, American's children may not out live their parents.
Childhood Obesity has long term effects on health and well being. Overweight children and adolescents are more likely to be overweight adults, and are at high risk for diabetes and a multiple number of cancers.

Homemade Easter Basket
Materials:
Cardboard box
Construction paper
Paint
Decor of your choice (depends on theme of your basket)
Markers
Glue or Mod Podge
Googly eyes
Directions:

Easy and Delicious Pineapple Matzah Farfel Kugel
Ingredients
6 eggs
3/4 box matzah farfel
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple with juice
1 stick margarine
3/4 cup of white raisins
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
Beat eggs, pineapple, sugar, raisin, vanilla, and margarine.
Mix together, and add matzah farfel.
Pour into a well-greased pan.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
