Reasonable Resolutions for Your Children

Come experience our Winter Wonderland Christmas Barn decorated as "A Magical Forest Toyland" of animals and elves preparing for the holidays! Walk through thousands of sparkling lights and watch a hundred animations come to life.  Visitors will be delighted by Hunt Club Farm's Sparkling Petting Farm Light Displays and Children's Maze, Live animal nativity, and huge old-fashioned Bonfire for roasting Marshmallows. This is where you can make memories to last a lifetime, and become a family tradition.

Thursday, December 23 through Thursday, December 23 - Toddler Trek Thursday

oin us for Toddler Trek Thursdays, an outdoor exploration session for early learners and their parents. Every Thursday, take an easy 30-minute stroll along the Nature Trail to discover a new animal, color, or shape through fun outdoor activities.

Friday, December 24 through Monday, January 3 - McDonalds' Holiday Lights at the Beach

It’s the only time of the year that cars get to drive right on the boardwalk - for over 30 blocks!  30,000 vehicles a year make the trek through this holiday wonderland.  This “Fanta-Sea” of lights is sure to dazzle and amaze holiday travelers visiting Virginia Beach.  Hotels create special packages that include free tickets to the light show.  New displays are added each year so it’s never the same show twice!

Saturday, December 25 through Monday, January 3 - MacArthur on Ice

  The 7,200-square-foot ice rink, on the corner of Monticello Avenue and Freemason Street, is the area’s largest public outdoor skating rink. The rink will be open from Nov. 20, 2010, through Jan. 17, 2011. The skating rink will include a large ice skate selection, including double runners for toddlers and up to size 16 adult; a mini-rink for toddlers; a private party area with picnic table seating for up to 60 people; birthday party packages, ice carving demonstrations and lots more special events.
Where: The ice skating rink is located just outside MacArthur Center, at the corner of Monticello Avenue and Freemason Street.
When: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM (6:00PM closing on Sundays)
