Welcome to our full service paddleboard adventure company! We offer Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Skills Training for all skill levels, SUP Yoga, Local Excursions, Sunset SUP Socials, stopping off at coffee shops and restaurants, local excursions within Hampton Roads, board rentals and our absolute favorite teenager adventure camp! We offer a Bring Your Own Board (BYOB) or Board Provided price for all classes and events.

The wait is over! Summer camps at Hampton Virginia Aquaplex are now open for registration! Hampton Virginia Aquaplex is pleased to provide Hampton’s youth with week-long themed camps throughout the Summer. Our new Summer Splash Camp is full of adventures. 

Helping Hands Therapy Services' therapeutic summer camps offers intensive bursts (up to 6-8 hours) of skilled Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Therapy in a small group format, allowing for growth in physical strength, coordination, social skills, language skills, communication, confidence, emotional regulation and more.

Mindfulness and Anxiety Camp for Teens and Tweens AUGUST 20-22nd 9:30-11:30 A Camp Focusing on Managing Stress and Anxiety and Teaching Coping Strategies to Teens and Tweens This Camp will be held at our Virginia Beach, Haygood Location and is led by an Occupational Therapist

Say and Play Speech and Develpment Summer Camp A therapeutic camp led by a licensed speech therapist and/or occupational therapist where we will be working on developing our play skills, social skills, and language skills while also working on improving our fine motor skills, and sensory processing skills as well! Ages 4-6 years old

Scattered Teens: A Camp to Help Disorganized Teens and Teens with ADHD A Summer Camp designed to help improve your teen’s executive functioning skills, including memory, initiation, focus and attention, and organization. This camp is appropriate for middle schoolers and high schoolers who are struggling to stay organized.

A Teen Social Skills and Executive Functioning Program! This group program will focusing on teaching skills and strategies to help improve your teen’s executive functioning skills, including peer interaction, social skills, conversation skills, conflict management, problem solving and life skills.

Summer Program Mommy and Me Read & Rhyme This class is designed for toddlers 18 months to 3 years and is led by a speech therapist. Your child will work on play skills and social interaction with peers and caregivers while listening to a book and then singing rhyming songs! This is a great way to develop their communication and language skills as well as early reading skills in your child! An adult Caregiver Must Be Present and participate in the class!

Your camper will explore everything the Nauticus campus has to offer as they dive into STEM-based activities onboard our Harbor 20 sailboats, the schooner Virginia, the battleship Wisconsin and inside our reimagined discovery center!

Throughout the week campers will conduct science experiments, learn to sail on the Elizabeth River, explore the resiliency of Norfolk, and much more.

Sensory Explorers Summer Camp! A therapeutic camp led by a licensed speech therapist and/or occupational therapist where we will be using sensory play to work on improving language skills, social skills, direction following, and fine motor skills and so much more! Ages 4-6 years old

Museum educators help children explore nature and space through hands-on activities, touring through the Museum, and learning about animals.

Ages

Children must be four years old (for Pre-K) or have just completed the grade you are registering for. Week-long camps are offered for ages 4 through grade 5.

Cost

Pre-K Half Day Camp –  $135 member; $150 non-members

K – Grade 5 Full Day Camp – $260 member; $290 non-members 

Eco Explorer (Grade 3-5) · Full Day Camp – $315 member; $350 non-members
