We offer Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Skills Training for all skill levels, SUP Yoga, Local Excursions, Sunset SUP Socials, stopping off at coffee shops and restaurants, local excursions within Hampton Roads, board rentals and our absolute favorite teenager adventure camp! Helping Hands Therapy Services' therapeutic summer camps offers intensive bursts (up to 6-8 hours) of skilled Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Therapy in a small group format, allowing for growth in physical strength, coordination, social skills, language skills, communication, confidence, emotional regulation and more.

Mindfulness and Anxiety Camp for Teens and Tweens AUGUST 20-22nd 9:30-11:30 A Camp Focusing on Managing Stress and Anxiety and Teaching Coping Strategies to Teens and Tweens This Camp will be held at our Virginia Beach, Haygood Location and is led by an Occupational Therapist

Say and Play Speech and Develpment Summer Camp A therapeutic camp led by a licensed speech therapist and/or occupational therapist where we will be working on developing our play skills, social skills, and language skills while also working on improving our fine motor skills, and sensory processing skills as well! Ages 4-6 years old

Scattered Teens: A Camp to Help Disorganized Teens and Teens with ADHD A Summer Camp designed to help improve your teen’s executive functioning skills, including memory, initiation, focus and attention, and organization. This camp is appropriate for middle schoolers and high schoolers who are struggling to stay organized.

A Teen Social Skills and Executive Functioning Program! This group program will focusing on teaching skills and strategies to help improve your teen’s executive functioning skills, including peer interaction, social skills, conversation skills, conflict management, problem solving and life skills.

Summer Program Mommy and Me Read & Rhyme This class is designed for toddlers 18 months to 3 years and is led by a speech therapist. Your child will work on play skills and social interaction with peers and caregivers while listening to a book and then singing rhyming songs! This is a great way to develop their communication and language skills as well as early reading skills in your child! An adult Caregiver Must Be Present and participate in the class!

Swimming is an extremely valuable skill at all ages, and could very well save your life one day! Our philosophy is that swimming is best learned in small groups, with constant practice over time.

Lynnhaven Dive Center has been in business in Virginia Beach for more than 47 years.

We offer SCUBA classes from Try Scuba and Open Water Diver all the way up to being an Instructor with Instructor Trainers and Instructor Certifiers on staff.

We also have a thriving year-round swim program that operates in our heated pool. Our wonderful swim instructors teach children to swim from Parent and Child classes at 6 months all the way to  adult private classes with many swim lessons in between!

This provides for proper attention, instruction, and RESULTS. With our certified instructors, students learn the importance of physical activity, exercise and conditioning in daily life. Because of this approach, they have more confidence and independence in the water, making them superior swimmers. At Lynnhaven Dive Center, swim lessons are offered year-round in our new state of the art indoor heated pool.

Mad Science is all about getting kids excited about science! We offer school programs, birthday parties, and summer camps throughout the Hampton Roads area. Our camps keep kids engaged and learning during the summer break through hands-on activities and exciting demonstrations. Choose from a variety of topics and locations.

Welcome to the Military Aviation Museum's 2024 Summer Adventure Camps! Prepare for a summer of discovery and excitement. Get ready to explore, create, and make unforgettable memories at the Museum this summer!

This Camp is Ah-Mazing! Campers dive deep into music production while learning how to use the most important tools & tricks of the trade. Every Camper will participate in the end of the week showcase where they share their group projects with their peers.

Your camper will explore everything the Nauticus campus has to offer as they dive into STEM-based activities onboard our Harbor 20 sailboats, the schooner Virginia, the battleship Wisconsin and inside our reimagined discovery center!

Throughout the week campers will conduct science experiments, learn to sail on the Elizabeth River, explore the resiliency of Norfolk, and much more.

Summer’s Best Two Weeks is a transformative camp experience for grades K-8th to introduce kids to a variety of sports, develop their skills, and teach them to honor God and respect one another in the way they compete in sports and all of life.

We have one and two-week camp options in 9 different locations from Suffolk to the Shore and the cost is $150/week ($75/week for Half day) and scholarships are available to make camp accessible for all.

Sensory Explorers Summer Camp! A therapeutic camp led by a licensed speech therapist and/or occupational therapist where we will be using sensory play to work on improving language skills, social skills, direction following, and fine motor skills and so much more! Ages 4-6 years old

Registration starts March 1 for both Spring Break and Summer Camps.  

The Hurrah Players fun and interactive camps will teach campers everything that goes into a Musical Theater performance! Come sing, dance and act with us! 

Be a star at Hurrah! Ages 5+. No experience necessary!  You must call 757-627-5437 M-F 9:00am to 4:30pm to register.

Museum educators help children explore nature and space through hands-on activities, touring through the Museum, and learning about animals.

Ages

Children must be four years old (for Pre-K) or have just completed the grade you are registering for. Week-long camps are offered for ages 4 through grade 5.

Cost

Pre-K Half Day Camp –  $135 member; $150 non-members

K – Grade 5 Full Day Camp – $260 member; $290 non-members 

Eco Explorer (Grade 3-5) · Full Day Camp – $315 member; $350 non-members
